Super Hero movies have been done to death, it's about time we moved on. Discuss.
The trailer below proves super hero movies are still alive and well. Robert Downey Jr appears to be an inspired casting choice and the action all looks very impressive.
And the soundtrack, well.. it's pretty good too.

I always love a good superhero movie and even occasionally an average one!
I think there is still definitely life in comic book movies. It's a superbly rich genre that hasn't yet been fully been explored, full of fascinating characters and storylines. The real beauty is that they are not all action and geek-only films, as proved by the depth of Spiderman, or even the direction and reinvigoration of Batman
I have to admit that some offerings are time-wasting and poorly handled affairs - but for every Spidey 3 or Ghost Rider, you can just as easily stumble upon a gem such Darkman, Blade or Hellboy.
After all, there are thousands of comic books, so why should there not be hundreds of movies? If you are tired of them, then avoid watching them. Go and see 'There Will Be Oscars', the latest animated offering or a good old-fashioned rom-com.
I, however, will be looking forward to seeing the new Iron Man and returning stars such as Hulk, Batman, Hellboy and Superman . . .
